How to use

Place or mount each Archer Air R5 unit where coverage is required, using the supplied plastic bracket or the 3M adhesive pads for wall installation, or set it on a tabletop to free up sockets. Connect the Ethernet WAN port to your modem if using router mode, or power the device via the Type‑C power connector. Use the Tether mobile app or the web interface to complete the initial setup, configure wireless SSIDs, security (WPA3/WPA2), and optional VPN server functions. The front LED/WPS button provides quick WPS pairing and status indication.

Recommendations

For best whole‑home coverage, place the three units in central locations on each floor or area to form an EasyMesh network; combine with additional EasyMesh‑compatible devices if needed. Enable OTA updates and HomeShield security to keep firmware and protection current. For mixed high‑bandwidth activities, connect stationary devices to the Gigabit Ethernet port when possible to reduce wireless congestion.
