How to use

Install and power the Deco BE25, then use the TP‑Link Deco app to perform a guided three‑step setup that creates a unified mesh network with a single SSID. Connect your internet modem to the Deco unit, configure WAN settings (Dynamic IP, PPPoE or static IP as required) and, if desired, enable combined wired/wireless backhaul and set up VPN client or server profiles. Use the app to view connected devices, prioritize traffic, configure parental controls and create a separate SSID for IoT devices.

Recommendations

Place Deco units centrally in each coverage area and, where possible, connect at least one unit with wired 2.5 Gbps backhaul to maximize throughput. Enable WPA3 and HomeShield features for improved device and network security. For uninterrupted roaming during streaming or gaming, allow AI‑Roaming and MLO to operate with default settings.
