How to use

Connect the Orbi primary unit to your modem using the internet (WAN) port and power on the devices. Place the satellite units around the home to achieve full coverage, keeping them within range of the main unit for optimal backhaul performance. Install the Orbi app on a smartphone to follow the step‑by‑step setup wizard, create WiFi networks, configure the 10 Gig and 2.5 Gig wired settings if needed, and enable security features such as NETGEAR Armor and parental controls.

Recommendations

Place satellites centrally on each floor or in open areas for best 360° coverage, avoid locating units near large metal objects or sources of heavy interference, and enable automatic firmware updates to maintain security and performance. Use separate networks for IoT devices when greater isolation is required.
