Video intercom system Hikvision DS-KIS613-S 7 inch (17.8 cm) display, 2688×1520 image, H.264/H.265/M-JPEG, IP65, IR night vision

Hikvision DS-KIS613-S is a video intercom system with a 17.8 cm (7") display that delivers clear video streams and supports H.264, H.265 and M-JPEG compression. The system provides a maximum video resolution of 2688×1520 pixels and can operate in 1520p, 1080p and 720p modes. The outdoor unit features IR LEDs for night-time visibility up to 3 m, an omnidirectional microphone for two-way audio, and an IP65-rated plastic housing for protection against dust and rain. The kit is designed for residential and small commercial access control and visitor communication, with wired and wireless connectivity options including Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth and standard PoE power support.

Advantages

The system combines a high-resolution indoor display with an outdoor station that supports 4MP imaging and a wide 150° viewing angle, enabling detailed monitoring of entrances. Multiple unlocking methods are available — card, Bluetooth, mobile app integration and local indoor station control — to accommodate different access workflows. Video recording and playback can be managed from the indoor station or the door station, and the included components such as a PoE switch and TF card simplify installation and initial setup. The IP65 rating and night vision capability extend reliable operation in outdoor conditions.

Use the indoor display or mobile app to view live video, communicate with visitors, record or play back clips, and control door locks.

Recommendations

For best image framing, install the outdoor station so the camera captures the full doorway and any approach path within the 150° field of view. Ensure the IR LEDs are unobstructed for reliable night vision up to 3 m. Use PoE for centralized power management and regularly back up important recordings from the TF card to external storage or cloud services to maintain event history.
