The Gira 052900 wired intercom/terminal (silver) expands a Gira HomeServer 4 into a building controller that networks technical equipment locally and with external systems via Fast Ethernet. Designed for private-sector buildings, it allows operation from a PC or any Internet-capable device on the LAN, WLAN or Internet and supports Android and iOS apps for convenient control. The device provides protected remote access through its software architecture and an optional authentication system when used with a USB ISDN adapter.

How to use

Install the wired Gira 052900 into the building network using Fast Ethernet and connect it to the Gira HomeServer 4. Configure user accounts and access rights for up to 200 users. Use a PC or mobile device (Android/iOS) with the corresponding Gira app to visualise building states, control KNX functions, operate scenes and timers, and view camera images. Remote programming of KNX systems is available via the iETS server function; the HomeServer continues normal operation during programming.
