The PureLink IS231 is a 0.1 m "On-The-Go" (OTG) adapter cable with a USB-C (male) connector on one end and a USB-A (female) port on the other. It enables connection of USB-A peripherals such as USB storage devices, keyboards or mice to mobile devices with a USB-C socket, for example smartphones or tablets. The adapter supports USB 3.1 (Gen 1) data rates up to 5 Gbps, offers up to 60 W (3 A) Power Delivery and is backwards compatible with older USB standards. The connectors are housed in slim ABS plastic enclosures and the short cable acts as a port saver to reduce stress on device sockets.

How to use

Insert the USB-C male connector into the USB-C socket of the mobile device. Plug the USB-A peripheral into the adapter’s USB-A female port. The connected device should be recognized automatically by the host device if the peripheral is compatible. For power delivery or charging, ensure the host device supports the required PD profile and the connected peripheral does not exceed 60 W / 3 A.
