The NRGkick smart attachment 16A 3pole is a detachable socket adapter for the NRGkick charging unit that permits connection to single‑phase 16A sockets (max. 16A / 3.7 kW). It comprises a connector unit and the smart attachment and enables the use of the normally permanently connected NRGkick KfW charging unit with compatible 16A single‑phase outlets.

Advantages

The smart attachment continuously measures temperature on each individual phase pin to detect overheating at the socket. If elevated temperatures are detected, the NRGkick charging unit independently reduces charging current to maintain safe operation.
