The Kathrein EXD 154 is a compact satellite multiswitch with five inputs that supports satellite input frequencies from 300 to 2350 MHz and terrestrial signals from 5 to 862 MHz. Designed for indoor installation, it provides automatic detection of receiver operation and supports single-cable distribution for up to 16 receivers per output when the receiver and system standards allow. The unit includes an integrated, efficient power supply for LNB feeding and a built-in AGC to stabilise Sat IF output levels.

Advantages

How to use

Mount the multiswitch indoors and connect the satellite and terrestrial inputs according to the installation plan. Feed the LNB(s) power from the integrated PSU if required. Connect receivers or a distribution network to the outputs. The device will automatically detect receiver signalling and select the appropriate mode (legacy signalling, DiSEqC, or single-cable EN 50494 / EN 50607). If using wideband LNBs, enable the wideband to Quatro mode as needed to feed a downstream standard multiswitch.
