The SATEL CD-2 is a passive infrared (PIR) curtain detector designed for indoor use. It provides a narrow, vertical detection pattern ideal for protecting windows, doors, and other openings. With a detection range of 12 m x 1 m and a recommended installation height of 2.4 m, it offers reliable perimeter security. The detector features a normally closed (NC) relay alarm output and a tamper output, both rated at 40 mA / 24 V DC. It operates on 12 V DC power supply and consumes only 10 mA in standby. The CD-2 is EN 50131 Grade 2 certified, ensuring high security standards.
