We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

File Station allows direct management of files stored on the TS-873A and in the cloud. How to use

Install the TS-873A in a stable location with adequate ventilation and connect it to your network using existing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling or upgraded Multi-Gigabit switches. Insert HDDs/SSDs into the drive bays or install M.2 NVMe SSDs for caching or tiering. Use the QNAP Storage & Snapshots Manager and File Station to configure RAID, create shared folders and set access permissions. For virtualization or GPU acceleration, install compatible PCIe cards following QNAP’s hardware compatibility guidelines and configure VM passthrough in the virtualisation settings.

Recommendations

For optimal reliability, use QuTS hero with ECC memory when data integrity and inline data reduction are priorities. Enable SSD caching or Qtier to improve IOPS-sensitive workloads, and consider adding 2.5GbE/10GbE network cards for faster backups and media workflows.
