The QSW-M2106R-2S2T is a Layer 2 Web Managed Switch with two 10GbE SFP+ fiber ports, two 10GbE RJ45 ports and six 2.5GbE RJ45 ports. Supporting Layer 2 switching and network management via a user-friendly web user interface, the QSW-M2106R-2S2T offers flexible deployment in hybrid high-speed network environments and provides an entry-level network management solution. With a half-width design, two QSW-M2106R-2S2T can be installed in a 1U rack space for space-saving.

10GbE connectivity
Includes two 10GbE SFP+ fiber ports (Backward compatible with 1G SFP) and two 10GbE RJ45 ports, compatible with NBASE-T technologies to support five speeds (10G / 5G / 2.5G / 1G / 100M) for high-speed networks.

2.5GbE connectivity
Six 2.5GbE RJ45 ports allow you to immediately multiply your network speed by 2.5 times while using existing Cat 5e cables.

User-friendly management interface

Flexible deployment with multiple 10G SFP+ fiber and Gigabit ports
The QSW-M2106R-2S2T provides two 10GbE SFP+ ports, two 10GbE RJ45 ports and six 2.5 Gigabit ports for connecting various devices and enabling hybrid high-speed networks. With SFP+ interfaces, Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables can be used for connecting directly to SFP+ devices. You can also use RJ45 ports to connect 10GBASE-T/NBASE-T™ devices through RJ45 Category 6a (or better) cabling. The switching capacity of the QSW-M2106R-2S2T is 110Gbps, guaranteeing the full potential of each port.

How to use

Install the QSW-M2106R-2S2T into a rack using the half-width mounting option or place it on a shelf. Connect SFP+ modules or DAC cables to the SFP+ ports for fiber or direct-attach connections, and use RJ45 Category 6a (or better) cabling for 10GBASE-T/NBASE-T links; existing Cat 5e cables may be used for up to 2.5GbE on the 2.5GbE ports. Access the QSS web interface from a browser to perform initial configuration, manage ports, create VLANs, enable LACP, configure ACLs and update firmware. Monitor port status and system health via the dashboard to ensure proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GbE copper performance use Cat 6a or better cabling; use Cat 5e only when limiting speed expectations to 2.5GbE.
