AXIS T8129-E Outdoor Power over Ethernet Extender extends Ethernet and PoE beyond the standard 100 m (328 ft) limit without requiring an additional power supply. Designed for use with Axis network video products and other PoE devices, the extender allows you to add one unit for each additional 100 m (328 ft) of cable to reach greater distances while maintaining full-rate network throughput. The device is housed in an IP66/IP67-rated enclosure to resist harsh outdoor conditions and wide temperature ranges. Both Ethernet ports auto-configure for link speed, duplex and crossover.

How to use

Install the AXIS T8129-E inline on the Ethernet cable where you need to extend the run beyond 100 m (328 ft). Connect the upstream cable from the PoE switch or injector to one Ethernet port and continue the downstream cable from the other port toward the PoE device. If further distance is required, add one extender for every additional 100 m (328 ft). Ensure cable terminations and connectors are properly sealed for outdoor installation and follow local cabling standards.
