The Noctua NF-A20 PWM is a premium 200 mm computer case fan engineered for quiet, efficient cooling. It combines Noctua's Advanced Acoustic Optimisation (AAO) frame with aerodynamic features such as Flow Acceleration Channels, Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures to improve airflow, pressure and noise performance. The PWM model uses Noctua's NE-FD1 IC with Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) for automatic 4-pin speed control, and the fan is built on the second-generation SSO2 bearing for long-term stability and durability.

How to use

Mount the NF-A20 PWM using the appropriate hole spacing (154 x 154 mm, 110 x 180 mm or 170 x 170 mm) to match your case or bracket. Connect the 4-pin PWM cable to a motherboard fan header that supports PWM control for automatic speed adjustment. Use the supplied extension or Y-cable if additional reach or multiple-fan control is required. If lower maximum RPM is desired, attach the Low-Noise Adaptor to limit the top speed to 550 RPM or run it at a fixed reduced speed.

Recommendations

For optimal acoustic and cooling results, install the fan in a position that promotes unobstructed airflow and use the PWM header for automatic control. Ensure screws do not compress the anti-vibration pads excessively to maintain vibration damping. Replace the fan only with compatible mounting spacing to preserve case compatibility.
