The Noctua NF-A20 5V is a dedicated 5V version of the premium 200 mm NF-A20 fan, designed for efficient airflow and very low noise. It features Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame, Flow Acceleration Channels, Smooth Commutation Drive technology and the SSO2 bearing for stable, long-lasting operation. The product includes a USB power adaptor cable, an OmniJoin™ adaptor set, a fully sleeved extension cable and a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty. Note: this 5V model must not be used with 12V sources such as PC motherboard fan headers, as this will damage the fan.

How to use

Connect the primary 20 cm sleeved cable to a compatible 5V power source using the included USB power adaptor cable for USB power supplies or power banks. If the target device uses a proprietary 5V header, cut the original fan cable and attach it to the OmniJoin™ adaptor using the supplied Scotchlok™ connectors, then plug the NF-A20 5V into the proprietary header. Ensure correct polarity — the fan includes an integrated diode for polarity protection, but proper alignment is recommended. Do not connect the fan to 12V sources such as PC motherboard fan headers.
