How to use

Install the access point on a wall or suspended ceiling using the included mounting hardware. Connect the device to your network using the 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port and, if available, Power over Ethernet to supply power. Use NETGEAR Insight to set up, configure and manage SSIDs, security settings and VLANs. For larger coverage areas, add compatible NETGEAR access points and enable wireless mesh to create a seamless business network.

Recommendations

Place the access point centrally in the coverage area and avoid obstructions for optimal performance. Use separate SSIDs and VLANs to isolate guest and IoT devices from administrative networks. Ensure connected switches and cabling support 2.5 Gbps where high wired throughput is required.
