The Sophos AP6 420X is a cloud-managed Wi-Fi 6 access point designed for indoor use and managed from the Sophos Central platform. The AP6 Series is intended for deployments that require scalable, centrally managed wireless connectivity; local single-AP management is also available. How to use

Install the AP6 420X in a suitable indoor location with clear coverage of the target area and connect it to a PoE-capable switch or injector to provide power. Add the access point to Sophos Central for cloud-based provisioning and monitoring, or configure local management if you intend to manage a single AP. Use the Sophos Central interface to create SSIDs, configure WPA3 security, apply access policies, and monitor client throughput and radio performance.

Recommendations

Place the access point centrally relative to client devices to maximize coverage, avoid physical obstructions and large metal surfaces, and ensure the PoE source supplies up to 30 W.
