Monitor Asus VY249HGR (Refurbished)

Where most budget gaming monitors compromise on either speed or colour accuracy, the ASUS VY249HGR delivers both without the usual trade-offs. Its 23.8-inch IPS panel pushes a true 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response, yet retains the wide viewing angles and vivid colour reproduction that TN panels simply cannot match. Add AMD FreeSync Premium, built-in 2W stereo speakers, and ASUS Eye Care Plus technology, and you have a display that is equally at home in fast-paced esports sessions and long productivity hours.

In daily use

The VY249HGR is built for gamers who refuse to sacrifice image quality for speed. The IPS panel offers 72% NTSC colour gamut and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, ensuring that dark scenes remain detailed and colours pop. With FreeSync Premium, the monitor's refresh rate synchronises with your GPU to prevent tearing and minimise input lag, while the 1ms MPRT response keeps fast-moving objects sharp. The anti-bacterial treated bezel and ASUS Eye Care Plus suite make it a smart choice for shared workspaces or extended gaming marathons.
