Wire connector BTR NETCOM 130863-02-E

The BTR NETCOM 130863-02-E wire connector is a compact field-assembly connector for 8‑wire copper data cables up to Cat.7A. It provides Class FA performance up to 1000 MHz (in connection with Cat.7A cables) and supports 10 GBit Ethernet. The connector has an IP67-capable housing when used with appropriate cables, a refined three-part zinc die-cast housing suitable for industrial use, and a compact form factor (diameter 16.8 mm × length 64 mm). It is sold individually and is designed for connection, extension, repair or relocation of copper data cables.

How to use

Insert the individual conductors into the insulation displacement connectors (IDC) according to the wiring scheme required (maintain pair order and twist as needed). Assemble the three housing parts to engage shield connection and strain relief, then secure the housing to achieve IP67 protection with the proper cable. No special tools are required for standard assembly; follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions for torque values and sealing procedure.

Recommendations

Use the connector only with compatible Cat.7A (or suitable Cat.6A) copper cables with overall diameters between 5.0 and 9.7 mm. Verify conductor sizes before assembly and ensure correct pair ordering and shielding continuity for Class FA performance and reliable 10 GBit operation.
