How to use

Mount the TL-SG2218 in a 19" rack using the included brackets or place it on a flat surface. Connect Gigabit devices to the RJ‑45 ports and fiber uplinks to the SFP slots as needed. Access the switch management through the Omada SDN controller (cloud or local controller) to configure VLANs, link aggregation, QoS policies and security features. Use 802.1X authentication with a RADIUS server for user-level network access control and enable DHCP snooping and ACLs to harden the network against common threats.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in mixed wired/wireless Omada deployments, configure VLANs to separate guest and corporate traffic, enable IGMP Snooping for multicast efficiency, and apply QoS rules to prioritize voice and video.
