We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

The LevelOne GVT-2000 gigabit media converter converts network signals between copper (RJ-45) and fiber-optic (SFP) networks. It provides one 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 port and one SFP slot for 1000Base-X optic modules, supports auto-sensing for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T, and works with half- and full-duplex links. The compact converter can operate as a standalone unit or slide into the CHV-2000 19" converter rack for centralized installation.

How to use

Install an appropriate 1000Base-X SFP module into the SFP slot and connect the fiber cable. Connect the RJ-45 port to a copper Ethernet device or switch using CAT5e/6 cable.
