Note: For cable lengths of 5 metres and above, 4K/60Hz resolution cannot be guaranteed. Our tests have shown that reliable transmission of 4K/30Hz and 1080p (60Hz) is possible, with a maximum of 4K/24Hz at 15 metres.
HDMI 1.4:
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).

If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.

Home cinema:The cable is particularly suitable for connecting HDMI components to a 3D home cinema system or AV receiver. Enjoy clear sound with low latency and high resolutions in 4k@30Hz or HD quality.

Streaming:If you stream content from streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ in Full HD or watch it on a Full HD TV, you can use this cable to connect streaming players such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast.

Gaming consoles:For older gaming consoles with a resolution of only 1080p, this cable supports a smoother gaming experience due to the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second. Examples of older games consoles include Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

Playback devices:Full HD and / or 3D televisions, projectors or monitors as well as corresponding first-generation 4k devices (4k@30Hz).

How to use

Insert the angled HDMI Type A plugs into the HDMI ports of your source device (player, console, PC) and your display device (TV, projector, monitor) ensuring the connector orientation fits the angled profile. For ARC functionality, connect the cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV and the corresponding ARC input on your AV receiver. Use the cable’s length and angled ends to route it neatly along walls or behind furniture, avoiding sharp bends or kinks to preserve signal quality and cable life.

Recommendations

Use this HDMI 1.4 cable for Full HD and 3D applications and for 4K content where the devices and connections support 4K@30Hz. Avoid using it for 4K@60Hz setups; for higher bandwidth needs choose an HDMI cable rated for HDMI 2.0 or higher.
