The InLine® PCI Express cardexpands your system with two internal NVMe M.2 slotsand enables the parallel operation of two NVMe SSDswith full PCIe bandwidth. Thanks to Hyper M.2 technology, the lane configuration is automatically detected at boot time for optimal system integration.
With a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface, the card offers a maximum bandwidth of up to 64 Gb/s, with each M.2 slot supporting a data rate of up to 4 GB/s. LED indicators for read and write activitymake it easy to monitor the operating status.

PCIe bifurcation for optimal use of the card:
In order for both M.2 SSDs to be operated simultaneously, the PCIe slot used must often be set to Bifurcation modein the BIOS/UEFI. This splits the available PCIe lanes into several channels (e.g. one x8 slot into two x4 channels). The exact designation varies depending on the motherboard manufacturer and BIOS/UEFI version. Terms such as "PCIe Bifurcation", "Lane Splitting"or "PCIe Slot Configuration"may be used. Please consult your mainboard manual for the correct setting and then check whether both NVMe SSDs are recognized.

How to use

Install the InLine 76660N into a free PCIe 3.0 x8 (or x16) slot on the motherboard and secure it with the supplied bracket and screws. Insert NVMe M.2 SSDs into the two M.2 Key M slots and fasten them using the included screws and thermal pads as required. If your motherboard requires PCIe bifurcation for simultaneous operation of both M.2 devices, enable the appropriate bifurcation or lane-splitting option in the BIOS/UEFI (check the motherboard manual for the exact setting). After installation, boot the system; the card uses Hyper M.2 technology to detect lane configuration automatically and the OS should recognize the drives without additional drivers.
