We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

IPS displays are best known for wide viewing angles and natural, highly accurate colours. They are especially suited for colour-critical applications.

Touch Through-Glass

This through glass touch screen works right through glass and can turn glass surfaces into an interactive touch screen display. Use it on storefront windows, real estate office, in-store for POS or restaurants.

Touch technology - Capacitive

This technology uses a sensor-grid of micro-fine wires integrated into the glass that covers the screen. Touch is detected because electrical characteristics of the sensor grid change when human finger is placed on the glass. Thanks to the glass overlay this technology is highly durable, and the touch function remains unaffected even if the glass is scratched. It offers perfect picture performance and will work with human finger (also latex gloved) and stylus-pen.

With true 1920 x 1080p resolution your monitor is ready to display high definition images. This means you can accommodate more information on your screen; e.g. 60% more in comparison to a 1280 x 1024 monitor.

IP65

The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection against water intrusion. IP65 means that the monitor is protected to water splashes against the enclosure from any direction.

How to use

Install the display into a kiosk or behind a protective glass surface; if required, attach the optional OMK1-1 external brackets for secure mounting. Connect the monitor to a compatible video source at 1920 x 1080 resolution and configure touch settings in the host system. For Touch-Through-Glass use, position the monitor directly behind the glass surface so touches on the outer glass register on the display. Regularly inspect the bezel and glass for debris; the capacitive sensor grid is durable but should be kept reasonably clean for optimal responsiveness.

Recommendations

For storefront and in-store installations, use appropriately tempered or laminated protective glass with a thickness compatible with the Touch-Through-Glass setup. Verify compatibility of the host system with projective capacitive touch drivers and ensure the video output is set to Full HD (1920x1080) for the best image quality. When installing outdoors or in high-humidity areas, ensure enclosure seals and cable entries are correctly fitted to maintain the IP65 rating.
