Module insert no. 8146-1 is supplied with a flat blade and is suitable for stripping PVC-insulated conductors in the range 0.02–10 mm² (AWG 34–8). The replaceable module insert system allows quick swapping of blades to adapt the tool for different insulation types and cross-sections. Dimensions: 191 x 123 x 20 mm. Optional module inserts available separately include no. 8146-2 with a round/circular blade for 4–16 mm² (AWG 10–5) and no. 8146-3 with a V-blade designed for PTFE and other insulations in the range 0.1–4 mm² (AWG 28–12).

How to use

Select the appropriate module insert for the conductor size and insulation type; the supplied 8146-1 flat blade is intended for PVC in the 0.02–10 mm² range. Insert the module into the compatible stripping tool body according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, position the conductor in the blade opening, and perform the stripping motion. For PTFE or other insulation types, fit module 8146-3 with the V-blade; for larger round conductors use module 8146-2 with the circular blade.
