The cable stripper is designed for fast and precise dismantling and stripping of common round and damp-proof installation cables (for example NYM cables from 3 x 1.5 mm² up to 5 x 2.5 mm²), as well as data cables (such as twisted pair) and coaxial cables. It features an ergonomic pistol-grip form that facilitates cutting, sheath stripping and longitudinal sheath cutting, with conical, slimmed-down tool ends for access in confined spaces. The tool housing is made from glass fibre reinforced plastic and includes a multi-component handle with a soft plastic zone for a secure and comfortable grip.

How to use

Select the appropriate stripping slot for the conductor cross-section, insert the conductor or cable into the corresponding opening and use the pistol-grip motion to close and rotate or pull as required for longitudinal sheath cutting and insulation removal. Use the location ridges to position single wires for precise stripping. For coax or data cables, use the opening aid to ease insertion before performing the strip. Release the locking device when finished and allow the opening spring to return the tool to the open position.
