Freestanding rack EFB Elektronik 691621VGR.50 is a 21U floor-standing steel cabinet designed for secure and organized installation of 19" equipment. The grey, self-ventilated housing features a welded frame and rear swing-frame that allows the front section of the cabinet to swivel for easier access. The rack is prepared for Plug & Play 2-fan unit installation and has pre-punched openings for cable entry, with options for mounting additional fan units in the roof and bottom. Inside, depth-adjustable, galvanized 2 x 19" profile rails accommodate standard equipment while the front door with certified safety glass and metal hinges provides stable, lockable access.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and secure leveling feet or castors to the bottom mounting points as required (sold separately). Install equipment on the depth-adjustable 19" profile rails and route cables through the pre-punched 250 x 70 mm openings in the roof, bottom or rear wall. If additional ventilation is needed, fit the prepared Plug & Play 2-fan unit or single fan units into the roof or bottom openings. Use the rear swing-frame to swivel the front section for easier mounting and maintenance. Close and lock the front door after installation to secure the equipment.

Recommendations

For stable and safe installation, attach appropriate leveling feet or a castor set to the four bottom mounting points and avoid exceeding the 50 kg maximum load. Fit fan units if the installed equipment generates significant heat and ensure cable entries are used to maintain tidy and compliant cabling.
