The EFB Elektronik 691615VGR.50 is a freestanding 19" rack cabinet with 15U mounting height and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg. Constructed from steel sheet with a welded frame and supplied pre-assembled, the cabinet offers IP20 protection and a grey finish. How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and, if required, install leveling feet or a castor set in the four mounting points at the bottom (ordered separately). Mount 19" equipment into the 15U frame following standard rack mounting procedures. Use the rear-sided swing-frame to swivel the front portion for easier access during installation and maintenance. Fit fan units in the prepared roof or bottom positions or install the Plug & Play 2-fan unit where required. Route cables through the pre-punched 250 x 70 mm openings in the roof, bottom or rear wall.

Recommendations

For safe and optimal operation, distribute mounted equipment to keep the centre of gravity low and avoid exceeding the 50 kg maximum load. Use compatible fan units and ensure adequate ventilation. Order leveling feet or castors separately if mobility or precise levelling is required.
