How to use

Insert the SC connector of the single‑mode fibre cable into each side of the simplex SC/SC adapter until it clicks into place, ensuring clean connector endfaces before mating to minimize loss. Secure the adapter in a panel, patch panel or faceplate as required. For disconnection, press the connector latch and gently withdraw the connector to avoid damage to the ferrule or sleeve.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces with approved fibre cleaning tools before each connection. Avoid bending fibres sharply near the adapter and keep the green adapter covered with protective caps when not in use to prolong service life.
