How to use

Connect the RJ-45 STP cable from your copper Ethernet device to the converter’s RJ-45 port and attach the multimode SC fiber to the SC connector. Plug the supplied 7.5V DC, 500mA power supply into the converter and then into a mains outlet. Verify link LEDs and, if needed, use the loop-back function to perform basic connectivity tests and troubleshooting as part of network maintenance.

Recommendations

Install the converter in a dust-free, dry environment and avoid excessive bending of the fiber cable. Use 50/125 µm multimode fiber to reach the specified 2000 m distance. Do not expect repeater functionality; for signal regeneration over longer or multiple segments, use dedicated repeater or switch devices.
