Eltako Mountable Dimmer 21100905 is a compact, mountable phase dimmer in a grey housing designed for ceiling or electrical cabinet installation. It accepts a DALI control input and converts DALI dimming levels into a corresponding phase-cut voltage signal (leading or trailing edge) to control 230 V LED retrofit luminaires and other compatible loads. The device is addressable on the DALI bus, includes double terminals for easy DALI looping, and supports configuration via DALI Cockpit PC software.

It relies on phase-cut control and so compatibility with certain LED drivers, low-voltage transformers or non-dimmable lamps cannot be guaranteed. Also note that supply is from the DALI bus, so some SYSTEM FAILURE LEVEL behaviors are only partially supported depending on firmware and model.

Connect the DALI bus to the double DALI terminals for easy looping and connect the load to the output. Configure addressing and parameters (such as MIN LEVEL and operating mode) using DALI Cockpit PC software. The device will convert received DALI levels into a phase-cut voltage; depending on load characteristics the unit will operate with leading or trailing edge control. From Firmware 3.5 the operating mode can be switched to act as a DALI DT7 switch if required.
