Electric contact grill Tefal OptiGrill+ XL stainless steel — large capacity, automatic cooking programs

The Tefal OptiGrill+ XL stainless steel is an electric contact grill with an enlarged cooking surface designed to serve family portions and larger cuts. Its automatic cooking programs detect food thickness and adjust time and temperature to deliver consistent results for meats, fish, vegetables and sandwiches. The housing has a stainless steel finish, and the grill plates are non-stick and removable for easier cleaning. An adjustable grilling angle allows fat to drain away during cooking, reducing grease buildup on the plates.

Advantages

The OptiGrill+ XL offers automatic program control that simplifies grilling by selecting appropriate settings for different foods and thicknesses. The larger plate area increases capacity compared with compact contact grills, enabling preparation of several portions in one cycle. Removable non-stick plates and a dishwasher-safe drip tray reduce maintenance time, while the stainless steel exterior provides durable protection and a neutral appearance that fits most kitchens.

How to use

Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface and connect to a suitable power outlet. Install the removable plates and preheat the unit according to the manual until the ready indicator is shown. Select the appropriate automatic program for the food type and thickness; the grill will automatically adjust time and temperature and notify you as the doneness level changes. For best results, allow meats to rest briefly after cooking. After the appliance has cooled, remove and wash the plates and drip tray by hand or in the dishwasher if compatible.

Recommendations

Use moderate oiling on strongly marinaded foods to avoid excessive smoke, trim large pieces to fit the cooking surface for even contact, and clean removable plates after each use to preserve non-stick properties and hygiene.
