Contact Grill Severin KG 2380 Black Silver 2000W Stainless Steel

The Severin KG 2380 Contact Grill in black and silver combines a stainless steel exterior with a 2000W heating system, designed for efficient tabletop grilling. Its rectangular form factor and combined grate and griddle top surfaces allow for versatile cooking of meats, sandwiches and vegetables. With adjustable thermostat control and compact dimensions (approximately 385 mm width and 350 mm depth), the unit suits kitchens where space and performance are both important.

Advantages

The stainless steel housing offers durable, easy-to-clean surfaces while the dual top surface — a ridged grate alongside a flat griddle area — lets you achieve sear marks and flat grilling in one appliance. A 2000W output provides rapid heat-up and steady cooking temperatures. The adjustable thermostat enables precise temperature control for different ingredients, and the compact rectangular design saves counter space without sacrificing cooking area.

• Grilling steaks, burgers and fish with sear marks

How to use

Place the contact grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface and plug it into a grounded outlet. Set the adjustable thermostat to the desired temperature and allow the grill to preheat until the indicator shows it is ready. Use the grate side for foods where sear marks are desired and the flat griddle side for delicate items or sandwiches. Flip thicker items as appropriate and monitor cooking progress. After use, switch off and unplug the unit, allow it to cool, then wipe the stainless steel exterior and clean the cooking surfaces following the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

Recommendations

For best results, preheat the grill fully before placing food on the plates, avoid overcrowding the surface to ensure even cooking, and use utensils suitable for non-coated metal surfaces. Regular cleaning of the plates and housing prevents buildup and maintains performance.
