The LEVELONE HVE-8111 AV extender set includes a transmitter and a receiver for long-range wired HDMI and USB transmission over Cat6 Ethernet cabling. How to use

Connect the transmitter to the source device's HDMI output and, if required, to a local display using the HDMI loop-out. Connect USB peripherals or the host computer to the appropriate USB ports for KVM functionality. Use a single Cat6/Cat6a cable to link the transmitter and receiver; power each unit with the supplied DC 12 V adapters or enable unilateral POC to power the receiver from the transmitter where supported. Finally, connect the receiver HDMI output to the remote display and verify signal and USB peripheral operation.

Recommendations

For reliable 4K performance at longer distances, use high-quality Cat6a cable and keep cable runs free from strong electromagnetic interference. When extending 4K@60Hz, test the specific source and display combination for compatibility; the guaranteed 100 m extension is specified for 4K@30Hz.
