All-in-one liquid cooler Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora 240

The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora 240 is an all-in-one liquid cooler developed for high-performance CPUs with large dies, such as AMD Threadripper, Epyc and Intel LGA 3647 processors. With the optional XPX Pro AM4 mounting bracket it can also be mounted on AMD Ryzen AM4 sockets. The cooler includes a 240 mm copper radiator, two 120 mm Alphacool Rise Aurora fans and an addressable RGB lighting system.

Advantages

The cold plate fully covers the CPU heatspreader area and the base contacts a large surface to reach hotspots directly; the fin pack measures approximately 55 x 42 mm on the bottom with 58 fins of 0.4 mm thickness and 0.4 mm spacing, and the copper base is 3 mm thick to transfer heat quickly into the coolant. The radiator and water-bearing parts are made of copper, with brass threaded connections for strength, and a fin density of 15 FPI offers efficient performance even at low airflow. The unit uses durable TPV hoses and standard G1/4" fittings for full compatibility with DIY water-cooling components; a quick-release coupling enables easy expansion. Integrated addressable 5V ARGB lighting on both the pump housing and fans provides customizable illumination, and the included fan and LED adapters simplify connection to the motherboard or a separate controller.

How to use

Install the radiator and fans in a suitable 240 mm housing slot and mount the pump block on the CPU using the appropriate mounting hardware for your socket. Use the supplied Y-adapter to connect the fans to a single 4‑pin PWM header on the motherboard for unified speed control. Connect each fan's 3‑pin JST LED plug using the included Y-adapter to the 5V ARGB header on the board or to the supplied Digital RGB controller. The pump uses a 3‑pin Molex connector and can be powered from the motherboard or an appropriate power source. If you plan to expand the loop, use the G1/4" quick-release coupling and standard fittings to attach additional radiators or GPU AIO units.

Recommendations

Use the optional XPX Pro AM4 bracket for AMD Ryzen AM4 CPUs. For best results, ensure good case airflow and connect the fans to a PWM header to allow automatic speed regulation. If integrating into a custom loop, rinse and flush compatible components before connecting to prevent contamination, and verify all G1/4" fittings are tightened to avoid leaks.
