Optimized for use with food products and in cold environments
With its all-temperature permanent rubber adhesive, these labels can be securely applied in temperatures as low as 0° C and will remain adhered in temperatures up from -40°C up to 50°C, making them perfect for use on assets in cold environments. The adhesive complies with European food regulation EC 1935/20004, EU 10/2011 and BfR Recommendation XXI for direct contact with dry and moist non-fatty foodstuffs. It also meets FDA 175.105 for direct contact with dry foodstuffs.

How to use

Load the roll into a compatible Zebra industrial or desktop direct thermal printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions for core size and label orientation. Ensure the print head and platen are clean to maintain print quality. Configure printer settings for direct thermal media and select an appropriate print speed (up to 152 mm/s) and darkness level to achieve legible, high-contrast black images. Store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Recommendations

For best results, use these labels on clean, dry surfaces and allow sufficient pressure during application to ensure adhesive contact. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight, which can cause image fading over time. Verify printer settings with a test print before full production runs and select a printing speed and darkness appropriate to your printer model and application.
