In daily use

Install the XS0B-MR61 on the ceiling and it will monitor for smoke continuously. The photoelectric sensor is particularly effective at detecting smoldering fires. When smoke is detected, the alarm sounds at 85 dB. If it is a false alarm, press the test/silence button to mute the alarm for about 9 minutes. The detector also alerts you when the battery is low or when the unit has reached the end of its 10-year life.
