How to use

Install the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall using the included mounting bracket, screws and anchors. Press the test/silence button to verify correct operation; the alarm emits sound and the red LED flashes during a test. If the alarm sounds during a real event, evacuate the area immediately and call emergency services. Use the silence function to temporarily mute false alarms; the mute time is up to 9 minutes. Replace the detector after the indicated 10-year lifetime.
