How to use

Mount the access point on a wall or pole using the supplied mounting hardware, connect a PoE-enabled switch or injector to the RJ-45 port to provide both power and network connectivity, and use Omada SDN or the device’s web management to adopt and configure the EAP725-Outdoor. Select antenna mode (directional or omnidirectional) in software as required for coverage patterns; the auto-sensing feature will detect antenna attachments and switch between internal and external antennas automatically.

Recommendations

For outdoor deployments, position the unit clear of large reflective surfaces and at sufficient height to minimise obstructions. Use Omada SDN for centralized configuration, enable mesh and roaming features when covering large areas, and ensure the PoE source meets the device power requirements.
