How to use

Mount the OAP1750 on a wall or pole in a location that provides broad line‑of‑sight coverage for the target area. Connect the device to your network switch using an Ethernet cable; PoE can be used to supply power and network via a single cable. Access the web‑based management interface or Edimax Pro NMS to configure SSIDs, security (including RADIUS if required), VLANs and AP array settings. Use the dashboard, map view or graphical zone plans to place and manage multiple APs and apply firmware updates and monitoring from a central location.

Recommendations

For best results, position the OAP1750 to minimise physical obstructions and interference from other 2.4 GHz devices, allocate bandwidth-sensitive services (voice/video) to the 5 GHz band when possible, and use central NMS management to group APs, apply unified security policies and monitor client load to maintain stable performance.
