The Alcatel‑Lucent OmniAccess Stellar AP1320 is an indoor Wi‑Fi 6 access point with integrated omnidirectional antennas and four radios: dual radios for client access (5 GHz 4x4:4 and 2.4 GHz 2x2:2), a dedicated full‑band scanning radio, and an integrated BLE/Zigbee radio. Interfaces include 2.5GbE RJ‑45, 1GbE RJ‑45, USB and 48V DC power. AP mount kit sold separately. Note: Unrestricted Regulatory Domain — not for use in US, Egypt, Israel, Japan.

How to use

Mount the AP using a compatible AP mount kit (sold separately) and connect the device to a compatible PoE or 48V DC power source. Connect the uplink to the network using the 2.5GbE or 1GbE RJ‑45 port. Use the vendor management platform or local web interface to configure SSIDs, security (WPA2/WPA3), RF settings and IoT (BLE/Zigbee) services. Ensure the dedicated scanning radio is enabled for continuous monitoring and intrusion detection where required.

Recommendations

Deploy AP1320 in indoor areas with high client density and IoT needs, position units to provide overlapping coverage for roaming, and use Multigig uplinks where possible to avoid bottlenecks. Do not deploy in regulatory domains where usage is restricted (US, Egypt, Israel, Japan).
