The Cudy AP1300 Outdoor is a dual-band AC1200 access point that supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and delivers up to 867 Mbit/s on compatible bands. Designed for outdoor deployment, it includes two external antennas, PoE support for simple installation, and standard wireless security (WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK). The device supports MU‑MIMO and can handle many simultaneous clients, while Beamforming and adaptive routing improve coverage and connection stability.

How to use

Install the AP1300 in a suitable outdoor location using the included mounting kit for wall or pole mounting. Connect the device to your network using the PoE adapter to supply both power and data through the Ethernet cable, or use the RJ‑45 LAN port with a compatible switch. To set up mesh networking, connect the LAN port of the PoE adapter to a Cudy Mesh AP/router/Mesh unit/VPN router/AC and power cycle as instructed; ensure firmware is newer than 1.15.28 and that other Cudy Mesh devices are present in the network. Configure wireless settings and security (WPA‑PSK/WPA2‑PSK) through the device web interface or management system.

Recommendations

Place the AP with clear line of sight where possible and avoid obstructions; if coverage area is large, add additional Cudy AP units to form a Mesh network. Keep firmware updated to the required version for Mesh features and adaptive routing to function properly.
