Wall mounted rack EFB Elektronik 691704VGR.40

The EFB Elektronik 691704VGR.40 is a 4U wall-mounted steel rack with welded frame, supplied completely pre-assembled and self-ventilated. It is finished in RAL7035 light grey, has an IP20 protection rating and is designed for indoor networking and server equipment installation in offices and small server rooms. The cabinet includes a front door with latch lock and a 4 mm certified safety glass window, removable and lockable side walls, pre-punched cable entry openings and internal earthing for all sections.

Advantages

The cabinet arrives ready for mounting and use, reducing installation time. Front-sided galvanized 2 x 19" profile rails are depth-adjustable to accommodate various equipment depths. The front door uses metal hinges for increased stability and comes with latch locking and two keys. The housing provides pre-punched openings (250 x 70 mm) in roof, bottom and rear for easy cable routing, and includes a brush terminal, a set of captive nuts (PU 20) and internal earthing of all cabinet sections. The bottom is prepared with four mounting points for leveling feet or a castor set, and the unit is prepared for an optional Plug & Play 2-fan assembly (Art.-No. 691656xx).

How to use

Mount the rack securely to a suitable wall using appropriate fixings (not included) considering the cabinet weight and the maximum equipment load of 50 kg. Install equipment on the front-sided 2 x 19" galvanized profile rails, adjusting rail depth as needed. Route cables through the pre-punched 250 x 70 mm openings in roof, bottom or rear; use the included brush terminal for tidy cable entry. If required, fit leveling feet or castors to the four bottom mounting points (ordered separately). The cabinet is prepared for installation of the optional Plug & Play 2-fan unit (Art.-No. 691656xx) to improve ventilation.

Recommendations

For safe operation, ensure total mounted equipment weight does not exceed 50 kg and that wall fixings are rated for the combined load. Use the provided lock and keys to restrict access, and consider installing the optional fan unit for improved airflow when housing heat-generating devices.
