The PLANET IFGS-624PTF is an unmanaged industrial Fast Ethernet PoE+ switch with four 10/100BASE-TX PoE+ ports and two 1000BASE-X SFP fiber uplink ports. How to use

Mount the IFGS-624PTF on a DIN rail or fixed to a wall in your industrial enclosure. Connect the two DC power sources to the dual power input terminals to enable redundancy and automatic failover. Plug network devices into the four RJ-45 PoE+ ports and insert compatible 1000BASE-X SFP transceivers into the SFP slots for fiber uplinks. By default the device operates in standard PoE mode; use the built-in DIP switches to set one-key ring mode or to switch ports to Extend mode when longer PoE distance (up to 250 m at 10 Mbps) is required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation in industrial deployments, use appropriate single-mode or multi-mode SFP modules matching the required fiber distance, provide dual DC power inputs for redundancy, and configure the DIP switch to enable One Key Ring for fast recovery and Extend mode only when cable runs exceed 100 m.
