Tile Cutter Einhell TE-MA 1700

The Einhell TE-MA 1700 masonry channel cutter is designed for precise cutting of stone, tile and masonry. Equipped with a 1700 W motor and a maximum idle speed of 7000 RPM, it accepts 150 mm diamond cutting wheels and provides a maximum cutting depth of 40 mm at 90°. The tool includes a 4 m cable, spindle lock, extractor adapter, four diamond cutting wheels and a storage case for immediate use.

How to use

Mark the required channel line and set the cutting wheel position using the integrated marking. Adjust the cutting depth and cutting width to match the material and desired groove size. Secure the tool with the guide roller and grips, start the machine (Softstart will control the initial torque) and slowly engage the cutting wheel with steady forward movement for a clean channel. Use the spindle lock when changing cutting wheels and connect a suitable dust extractor to the adapter when required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask, ear protection and gloves). Allow the motor to reach full speed before cutting and avoid excessive pressure on the blade to prolong wheel life. For dusty indoor work, connect a dust extractor to the adapter and clean the tool after use. Replace diamond wheels when worn or damaged.
