How to use

Install the AK-1505-S in a cabinet or rack using either the built-in DIN 35 mm rail clips or the removable flat mounting ear; the ear can be positioned left or right and flipped if needed to fit available space. Connect the thermostat’s switching contact in series with the power supply to the cooling device or fan so that the contact closes to supply power when the thermostat reaches the set temperature. Adjust the temperature setting on the thermostat to the desired trigger point. When ambient temperature rises above the set point, the thermobimetal sensor will deform, closing the contact and powering the cooling equipment; the contact reopens when temperature falls below the reset point.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the thermostat where it senses representative cabinet temperature and away from direct air streams from fans; ensure wiring and connected loads do not exceed the specified 10 A switching current and 250 V rating.
