tesa StopWater Tape is an ultra-thin, non-adhesive PTFE tape designed to permanently seal leaking screw-type pipe and hose connections. How to use

Unscrew the leaking threaded connection and clean the threads briefly to remove dirt. Wrap a strip of tesa StopWater Tape around the male thread, ensuring even, overlapping turns to cover the leaking area. Re-tighten the connection by screwing the parts back together. The tape will deform into thread gaps and form a watertight seal suitable for pressures up to 6 bar.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the tape to dry, clean threads and use sufficient overlap to fill gaps; avoid using adhesive or additional sealants together with the non-adhesive PTFE tape. Not intended for pressurized gas applications unless specified by local regulations.
