The Brodit 539960 tablet/UMPC holder is a custom-fit mounting solution with a lock and two keys. It accommodates devices with a rugged frame, with or without an expansion module or handstrap, and provides access to the camera, buttons and ports while the device remains secured. The holder includes a USB connector for power and data (maximum current 900 mA @ 5 Vdc) and a DC power cutout; power supply is not included. Constructed in Sweden from high-grade ABS and acetal plastic in black, the unit mounts to any flat surface or to a Pedestal Mount using predrilled AMPS and VESA standard holes. Avoid installation on a vehicle dashboard if it blocks view or key controls; vehicle installations are at the customer’s own responsibility.

How to use

Attach the Brodit 539960 holder to a suitable flat surface or to a compatible Pedestal Mount using the predrilled AMPS or VESA holes. Place the tablet/UMPC into the custom-fit enclosure so it sits securely; close and lock the enclosure using one of the supplied keys to prevent removal. Connect the device to power or data via the integrated USB connector or the DC power connector as required (note: power supply not included). To remove the device, unlock the holder with a key and lift the device out.

Recommendations

Do not install the holder on a vehicle dashboard if it obstructs the driver’s view or key vehicle controls. Ensure all vehicle installations comply with local laws and are performed with consideration of safety; installation in a vehicle is the customer’s responsibility.
