The Brodit 739267 passive Module Upgrade Cradle is a black, heavy-duty holder designed for Zebra ET5x series tablets in rugged frames, with or without an expansion back module or handstrap. It secures the device in place while allowing hot-swap of extended batteries and keeps the tablet accessible with full access to camera, scanner, buttons and ports. The cradle is built from high-grade ABS, acetal plastic and metal, includes a steel backplate with AMPS and VESA 75 mounting holes and is tested for vibration for normal forklift environments. Two keys are included for the key lock.

How to use

Attach the cradle to a suitable flat surface or pedestal mount using the AMPS or VESA 75 holes. Insert the device into the cradle with one hand until it locks; use the provided key to secure or release the key lock. When fitted, the tablet remains accessible for camera, scanner, buttons and ports and permits hot-swapping of extended batteries. Select and connect an appropriate power cable or charging module (not included) if mains or vehicle charging is required.

Recommendations

Choose the installation location carefully so the mounted device does not obstruct driver's view or important vehicle controls. Use only suitable mounting surfaces and perform installations at your own discretion and responsibility. For charging, add a compatible cable or power module: cig-plug cable (12V out, 2.5A), fixed-installation cable (12V out, 2.5A), Alfatronix converter (12V out, 48V in) or a 12V power supply with 220V connector and adapters.
