Storage drive tray DeLOCK 47235

This solid metal mobile rack by Delock fits into a free 5.25" bay of a PC, IPC or server enclosure and allows installation and operation of up to four 2.5" U.2 NVMe SSDs. Each slot provides an individual SFF-8643 connector to ensure full speed per drive. The tray has external dimensions of approximately 139 mm (width) x 146 mm (depth) x 42 mm (height) and comes in black. The package contains one tray and two lock keys.

How to use

Mount the metal tray into a free 5.25" bay of your PC, IPC or server chassis and secure it with the standard bay screws. Connect each installed U.2 SSD to the corresponding SFF-8643 internal connector. Use the tool-free quick-change mechanism to insert or remove SSDs; lock each removable frame with the supplied keys when drives must be secured. Adjust the rear fans to low or high speed depending on workload and temperature requirements.

Recommendations

For sustained heavy workloads, set the fans to high speed and verify that your chassis provides sufficient airflow. Regularly back up data before hot-swapping drives and store removed SSDs in an anti-static, secure location while not in use.
