The IST-5-W serves as a central command point in any room. Users can swipe through custom-designed pages to control multi-zone audio, video sources, lighting scenes, motorized shades, and climate settings. The capacitive touch panel responds instantly to taps and swipes, while the proximity sensor wakes the screen as you approach, and the ambient light sensor adjusts brightness to match room conditions. For communication, the integrated microphone and speaker support SIP-based intercom calls to other RTI panels or compatible devices, and the H.264 video intercom feature allows viewing and talking to IP cameras or door stations. Installation is straightforward: the panel mounts into a standard 2-gang box and connects to the network via a single Ethernet cable carrying both data and power (PoE). For installations without PoE, a 12V DC power supply can be used (sold separately).
